About Yaya’s Cravings

Yaya’s Cravings is a family-owned Puerto Rican bakery and kitchen at Central Market in York, PA. We serve authentic Puerto Rican food and desserts; pasteles, quesitos, guava pastries, tres leches, polvorones, and Mallorca bread; freshly prepared at our market stall. We also make custom cakes, offer catering throughout York and the surrounding areas, and take pasteles by pre-order.

The recipes behind our savory dishes and pasteles come from my grandmother, Cutin, and my mother, Mayra; the foundation of the Puerto Rican traditions we love sharing. The sweet side has been my own journey, developed over years of practice, creativity, and a passion for baking.

I have been looking for a really really good place for baked goods for a while and I'm glad to say Yaya's is that place! I ordered today on doordash and everything was an absolute 10/10! I have tried the Mallorca, creme brulee, and a pastry with strawberries and Nutella on top. I can't pick a favorite everything was so delicious! I still have a few other things to try over the next few days that I got as well, all look absolutely mouthwatering! They were out of a few items that we ordered but we're super communicative with finding replacements and even sent a bonus item to make it up to us which was so sweet and unexpected! We will absolutely be back and recommend everyone try them out if you haven't yet!

Craving some pastries, my family and I found a special place in the city of Yorks market. Yaya was excellent and attentive in serving her clients. The quesitos were great together with the piña colada. Keep up the great service. 😁

I discovered this place today and it was amazing. The customer service is excellent. The owner and her daughter were extremely friendly. I had the carrot cake, which was good. The Tres Leche cake, which was amazing. The flan reminded me of my fiancés Abuela the way she made it. I definitely will come back and try more. *** UPDATE*** I went back on the weekend to try their food. I ordered the grandmothers plate. As someone who was born and raised in New York City, this is the best Puerto Rican food I've ever had. The pork was seasoned amazingly. The rice and beans were absolutely delicious. The macaroni salad was very good. I definitely will be returning to try more of their food and their baked goods.
